On January 29, 2024, the physics and chemistry Olympiad for students of the 1st semester was held at the natural sciences disciplines department. Teachers of the Natural Sciences Disciplines  Department: Ismailova Ch.S., Aitkeeva Ch. A., Baidzhuranova A.M. and senior assistant Arstanbekova P.M. were organizers of the event.   8 teams totally amounted to 40 student took part in the Olympiad.

The main goal of the olympiad was:

• Identification of talented students interested in physics and chemistry;
• Development of interest in physics and chemistry among the participants of the olympiad;

The olympiad wa held in 4 stages:

1. Presentation of teams;
2. MCQ in physics and chemistry
3. Theatrical performance of physical laws or phenomena, or on chemical laws and reactions.
4. Logical questions in pictures on physics and chemistry

All students showed great interest, demonstrated good theoretical knowledge and were very creative in completing the hometask.

The jury members were:

1. vice head of the fundamental  disciplines department Beknazarova Sh.Z.
2. lecturer of the fundamental  disciplines department Taalaibekova Y.T.
3. lecturer of the fundamental  disciplines department Bakirova Sh.S.
4. Natural Sciences Disciplines Department Isakova B.A.

Following are results of the Olympiad:

The winners were presented with gifts (IHSM promotional products) and diplomas for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The rest received certificates of participation.
