MEDICAL BIOLOGY, GENETICS, PARASITOLOGY

Science-based research, whether fundamental or applied, is relevant to human health. Scientific research in various fields, including genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, physiology, systemic biology and epidemiology are closely interconnected and intertwined, as they are aimed at preserving the habitat and human health. For a deep understanding of the structure of ecosystems, of which humans are a part, the Biology with Ecology Fundamentals program is based on interdisciplinary research on living organisms, a scientific methodology for studying the environment in all forms of its manifestation. The main subject of this program is the basic principles of the organization and existence of species, the patterns of inheritance of characters of each species, the principles of conservation, development of species and their evolution. Using biological knowledge, medical students master the methods of control and prevention of many modern diseases (AIDS, malaria, obesity and diabetes, cancer), studying the distribution mechanisms and treatment methods.
