Quality Policy
The International Higher School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as IHSM) is an organization providing services in the field of higher medical education for international students and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the following areas:
• Secondary vocational education;
• Higher professional education (specialist degree, master’s degree);
• Postgraduate professional education;
• Short-term continuing education programs.
Mission of IHSM
The International Higher School of Medicine serves for local and global community by educating students to become competent healthcare professionals and scientists who demonstrate research excellence, practice evidence-based medicine, advocate for patients, and share highest ethical standards
The Strategic Development Program of IHSM defines six strategic areas of activity:- Educational activities;
- Research activities;
- Organizational management;
- Infrastructure and working environment;
- International activities;
- Social responsibility.
In our work, we are guided by the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation with all stakeholders.
Our Quality Management System is designed to respond promptly to changes in both the external and internal environment of the organization.
Continuous improvement is one of the key principles of IHSM’s activities. The implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 is the main tool for enhancing the quality of the services we provide.
Our staff are highly qualified professionals who are responsible for the quality of their work. We strive to ensure that all employees share the principles of the Quality Management System, are involved in its development, clearly understand the objectives of their work, see the results, and influence them. The opinion of each employee is important and is taken into account within the Quality Management System.
Responsibility for the implementation of this policy, its communication within the organization, as well as for fostering employee motivation to comply with it, rests with the IHSM management, in particular the Rector.
