The goals and objectives of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines of the Issyk-Kul Campus of the International Higher School of Medicine are aimed at training highly qualified physicians who meet the needs of the national healthcare system and international standards, with a strong focus on providing high-quality medical care, disease prevention, and the development of students’ professional and personal competencies. We strive to integrate the educational process with scientific research, equipping graduates with both fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary for professional activity, further education, and career mobility.
The Department’s objectives include training students in basic and advanced skills in providing therapeutic and preventive care, conducting diagnostics and disease prevention, as well as developing in-depth knowledge in related disciplines. Special attention is given to the formation of organizational and managerial skills and the preparation of specialists capable of working effectively in medical institutions, maintaining medical documentation, and assessing the quality of medical services. The Department also provides methodological support to its staff and participates in the continuous improvement of academic courses and teaching methods.
The teaching staff conducts fundamental and advanced disciplinary research, actively collaborates across various scientific fields, addresses issues relevant to the modern world, and shares a strong commitment to innovation in both research and teaching. Our students study a wide range of disciplines, contributing to their comprehensive professional development.
